Avery Katz Obituary

AVERY K. KATZ, 88, retired, of Cordova, formerly of Mississippi Gulf Coast, died Sunday, May 27, 2007 at his residence. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m. Friday, June 1 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar, Mr. Katz was a member of Faith Anglican Church, was a World War II veteran, and a Coast Guard Auxiliary-Commodore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret B. Katz. He leaves two daughters, Peggy K. Tribble of Cordova and Mary Alissandratos of Smyrna; and four grandchildren, Louis D. Hamric III, Charles A. Hamric, Andrew J. Alissandratos, and Nicholas A. Alissandratos. Memphis Funeral Home 901-725-0100
