My family and I will be praying for the Kuykendall family in their time of loss. We know Mr. Kuykendall is with his Savior now.
I remember voting for Mr. K. because I knew him to be a man of integrity and good sense. We appreciate the service he gave to his community and his country.

Mr. Kuykendall was of a class and generation where intregrity in public service, and personal life, were bedrock. He was always very kind to me when I was a young man new to politics and Washington life.

Though we never met Mr. Kuykendall personally, we purchased the house that he built (in Memphis) from them and have lived here the past 33 years. Earlier we appreciated him as our Congressman and then for the woodwork he had done in his and now our home. We offer our condolences to his extended family and pray God's blessing on each of them.

I remember visiting Mr. Kuykendall in Washington, D.C. at his office as a child. I was so impressed he took time out of his busy schedule to show us around and give us a history booklet.
