LAURA DODGE Obituary

Laura Cobb Dodge, 47, of Memphis, passed away un-expectedly on March 16, 2014. Laura was a graduate of Germantown High School, Rhodes College, and Memphis State University. She worked in pharmaceutical sales for several years with Pfizer, and most recently worked for Remington College. Laura was a member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Dodge. She leaves her daughter, Elise Hunter Cobb; her son, Jack Cameron Cobb; her parents, Loren C. and Gwynne H. Borders; her sister, Leigh Ann Robinson; the father of her children, Guy F. Cobb; her dear friend, Bruce Elliott; and numerous other family members. Lasting memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of the donor’s choice. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 20, beginning at 1 p.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m., at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Germantown Road.
