MORGAN ELIZABETH KELLEY

Jackson - Morgan Elizabeth Kelley, 21, , "Our Little Angel" was born April 18, 1988 and passed away December 7, 2009 due to complications during heart surgery. She was the beloved daughter of Mike and Jan Kelley and exceptional sister to Shannon Kelley. Morgan was a senior at Lambuth University where she majored in Biology. In addition to her studies, Morgan was President of Alpha Omnicron Pi Sorority, Vice President of the Lambuth Student Government Association, a Ned McWherter Scholar, a Who's Who recipient and a spokesperson for the American Heart Association. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Jackson as well. Her greatest joys in life were her family, many, many friends and sisters of Alpha Omnicron Pi sorority. In addition, Morgan loved spending time with her sister Shannon and was the ultimate "Big" sister for her. Morgan worked at Parkway Animal Hospital, helping to care for pets and as a fledgling researcher at the UT USDA at West Tennessee Research Education Center. She was very excited to be a part of both of these opportunities. Morgan leaves behind her Grandmother “Nana” and Grandfather “Papa Ted”, Grandfather Mike Sr. “Grandpa Mike”, aunts and uncles and cousins who loved her very much. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 11 at 11 a.m. at the Lambuth University Chapel and Saturday, December 12 at 2 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, both in Jackson, TN.
