Geneva Corliss Obituary
Bristol, NH - In memory of Geneva L. Corliss, who passed away at the age of 80, on December 31, 2024 after a long battle with health issues.
Known as Jenny, Ginny or Nanny, she was a person of kindness, generosity, care, compassion, thoughtfulness and love. She had a gift for everyone she met, even if you didn't know it. She touched many lives with just a smile and soft spoken words.
Jenny was a waitress at the Cat and Fiddle, spent many years as a volunteer with the Salvation Army thrift store, enjoyed working in customer service in a drive-thru for a fast food restaurant and most recently, volunteered with the thrift store in Bristol, NH, where she lived.
When she wasn't working or volunteering, she was helping others and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved shopping at thrift stores and yard sales to find gifts for everyone. Her hobbies included crossword puzzles, puzzles and playing Cribbage. She loved her coffee and bagels. She enjoyed watching movies while Oldies 99 was playing on the radio and catching up with family and friends that lived afar.
Jenny is survived by her friend, partner and love, Charlie. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother, her daughter, Julie, her two sons, Joseph and Steven, her grandchildren, Trynt, Nikki, Robyn, Michael, and Steven and many great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son, Kenny, and her granddaughter, Morgan.
She will truly be missed by all and remembered for her love, patience, kind-heart, laughter and free spirit. One of her favorite sayings was, "I love this silence, which allows me to rest my heart in you."
Please join the family to celebrate Geneva on Saturday, February 22, 2025 between the hours of 10:30am and 1:30pm at the Faraday Function Center located at 48 Airport Road in Concord, NH. Please bring pictures and memories to share.
