Robert Dahood Obituary

CONTOOCOOK - Robert M. Dahood, 80, of Contoocook, passed to a better place Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Concord Hospital, surrounded by family.

He was born May 19, 1932 to the late Michael and Mary (Buckley) Dahood.

He was a loving man whose great joys were his cars and, especially, the time he spent with his many nieces and nephews and their children, who all thought "Uncle Bobby" was the best.

He is predeceased by brothers Nicholas David, Samuel David and John Dahood and sisters Rose Smetana and Margaret Karam.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carole; brother, G. Michael Dahood; and sisters Jeannette Poppe and Ruth Reynolds. Also, many nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.

Interment will be at the NH Veterans Cemetery in the Summer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hopkinton Firefighters Assn, 9 Pine St, Contoocook, NH 03229.
