James Salem Curry

August 7, 1965 – August 25, 2025

On Monday, August 25, 2025 we lost an amazing man. A husband, dad, poppy, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle, and friend.

James Salem Curry passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He went to be with his Lord and Savior along with his Martin guitar in his hand playing, "Hallelujah, praise the Lord – I'm headed home.

He was a resident of Pembroke, Georgia, his little slice of Heaven, for 19 years with his wife and children. He served and retired from the United States Army 3rd ID Battalion, after 22 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Angel Faith Curry; children, Trinity Stone (Travis), Daniel Curry, and Nathan Curry; grandson, Theodore Stone; mother, Luna Maynard Gordon; father, Bobby C. Curry (deceased), and his only beloved brother, Robert Dwayne Curry (Carolyn).

"There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains." Go rest in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father ! Even though our hearts are broken, our love is eternal, everlasting, and always connected. Glory…Glory… Glory when we see you again.

The visitation will be on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral to honor James' life will follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.

The graveside funeral and burial will be on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 12 noon at Beaufort National Cemetery located at 1601 Boundary Street in Beaufort, South Carolina. The procession will leave from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.
