Gary Rowles Obituary

Gary S. Rowles, 70, of Worcester, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Leslie (Martin) Rowles to whom he has been married for over 46 years. Born April 26, 1942 in Norristown, he was the son of the late Lewis Stetson Rowles and Dorothy Slingluff Rowles. Mr. Rowles spent over 30 years working very successfully in the pharmaceutical industry as the Director of Facilities for Rhone-Poulenc Rorer and was a life long member of Boehm's U.C.C. Church in Blue Bell. He enjoyed golfing, relaxing at the family shore house in Beach Haven, NJ and, most of all, spending time with his grandchildren through their many activities. In addition to his wife he is survived by his two sons, Gary Jr. and his wife Tiffany of East Greenville, and Michael and his wife Dara of Perkiomenville; his siblings Sheron Bitsko, Cynthia Cooper, L. Stetson Rowles, Jr. and his five grandchildren Jordan, Devon, Aidan, Shane, and Isabella. Mr. Rowles was predeceased by his son Gregory Rowles. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Boehm's U.C.C. Church, 571 Penllyn-Blue Bell Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422, where fiends may call from 8:30-10:30 AM. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Boehm's United Church of Christ Memorial Fund at the address above. Online condolences may be made at www.rlwilliamsfuneralhome.com
