Neil E. Sandman, at the age of 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Mr. Sandman was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He was a sales engineer for numerous industrial equipment companies in the area. Neil was a member of the former St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA. He was a graduate of West Catholic High School in Philadelphia, PA, Class of 1943. He enjoyed dancing, roller skating, flying and helping people.

Neil was a US Navy veteran serving in WWII. He was in the Battle of Leyte Gulf, which was the largest battle the navy was involved in.

Neil was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 23, 1925. He was the son of the late Frederick J. and Flora M. (O'Neill) Sandman. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 60 years, Jeannette E. (Custer) Sandman; a daughter, Linda Giordano and her husband, Joe Puca; two sons, Neil F. Sandman and his wife, Ellyn, and David Sandman and his wife, Valerie; 8 grandchildren: Donna, Gregory, Matthew, Nicole, Carla, Leonard, Brooke and Tyler; 8 great-grandchildren: Arianna, Kaitlyn, Nathan, Anthony Joseph (AJ), Hannah, Joseph, Sierra and Kylee; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Donald and Buddy.

Relatives and friends are invited to Neil's Funeral Mass at the St. Augustine Worship Site, 464 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11:00am. His viewing is Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:50am, at the worship site. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
