Age 48, of Merchantville, NJ, finally ended his brave battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) on Friday, June 17th.

He is survived by his son, Kyle Thomas Rounds and his daughter, Sydney Rounds. He is also survived by his Mom & Step-Dad, Bobbi & Tony Stagliano of Merchantville; his Dad & Step-Mom, Thomas J. Rounds Jr. and Gail of Jensen Beach FL; his sisters, Kelly Rubin of FL & Heather (Mike) Clarke of GA; his brothers, Mark Stagliano (Doreen) of Warminster, PA and Mike Stagliano (Gwen) of Cherry Hill, NJ; Uncle Courtney Mutschler (Leang-li) of Mays Landing, NJ; Aunt Nanci Redecker (Jim)of Cape Coral, FL ; former wife, Dottie Dewitt (Steve) of Sewell, NJ and many loving cousins, a niece and a nephew.

Tom loved family gatherings, spending time with his children and getting together with friends. He managed to make people smile, laugh, and to lift them up when they were down. He was always ready to help family and friends. His fun passions included golf with Mike, shooting pool with Chris & John, traveling and visiting the beach with Kelly, visiting the cousins in Georgia and Florida, movies (he was the ultimate critic), cheering on sports teams and fantasy football (all other sports paled in comparison). Services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 25, 2011 with family visitation from 9-11, a funeral service to follow at 11. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053-3101. (ALLOWAY FUNERAL HOME, Merchantville, NJ)

Dear Tommy,
You came into my life as a little blonde haired dynamite, full of energy and excitement. You gave me an opportunity to learn what it would be to be a dad and taught me so much about young children and needs. We had fun as we both grew up. I remember the annual visits to Gaudio’s Christmas Wonderland each year, building a train platform that would fit in your bedroom at Eldridge Gardens ,and as you grew the many boat trips in the NAN-CO-BOB. Your love of boating continued even when you came to visit us in Florida. I remember sharing a bedroom in Cape May and having conversations with you in your sleep. Summers consisted of nightly trips to the Put Put and then to Morrows for “fish” and maybe even some Ice cream. We played in the pool and rode the motorcycle and tractor. There were the times you would come to the house and shoot pool and later on after Jamie was born visit Haddonfield and entertain him. As you got older and had children of your own you put so much into that relationship and loved them unconditionally. Kyle and Syd don’t ever lose that love. I so enjoyed the times we came to visit and could spend time with you. You made family a priority and you shared so much with the boys. When you came to see us in Florida it was like a son coming home to visit and we could enjoy this time together. I know as your disease advanced it was harder on you to travel but we will always cherish those visits, Christmas time, summer at the beach, just relaxing on the boat and then the fishing trip to Georgia, a time to remember. Thank you for all these great memories.
I Love you,
Uncle Jim
