Christopher was that special guy that gave his family quality of life. Through his life he taught those around him what was important in life — love, values and family. He always remained the heartbeat of the family.
Surviving are his parents, Daniel C. and Marjorie (Simmons) Cavins of Evansville; sisters, Danetta M. Ohning and her husband, Barry, of Evansville, and Dawn Lee Crabtree of Evansville; brothers, Daniel Kirk Cavins and his wife, Debra, of Petersburg, Ind., David E. Cavins of Evansville, and Drew Wilson Cavins and his wife, Barbara, of Evansville; great-aunt, Mildred Newton of Evansville; aunts, Judy Dorris of Evansville, Maxine Schuler of Evansville and Betty Miles of Evansville; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services are planned for 10 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2007, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., with Pastor Mike Pyle officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Browning Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 435 Limestone, Indianapolis, IN, 46202-2819.
