Joyce Button Obituary
Joyce was born in Edmonton, KY in 1934 to Lewis and Eunice Stephens. She was a member of Corydon United Methodist Church. Joyce retired from Gibbs Die Casting in 1999 after 25 years of service. She loved being outdoors, especially gardening. She would can her veggies and make jams. One of her favorite hobbies was quilting. She also loved cats.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: 3 Sisters: Stella Grissom, Evelyn Garmon, Ray Shive, 2 brothers: Freeman and Phillip Stephens.
Survivors include: 3 Daughters: Sharon McDonald and husband Mack Lakeland, FL, Sandra Blanford and husband Mark Owensboro, KY, Selena Crockett and husband Jeffery Corydon, KY
1 Sister: Ruth Oakes Edmonton, KY, 4 Grandchildren: Seth Culver, Sara Blanford, Jesse Crockett, Katey Crockett
3 Great Grandchildren: Malaya Culver, Rylan Blanford, Nolan Blanford, Nieces and Nephews
Relatives and friends are invited to Joyce Button's Life Celebration from 4:00-8:00 PM, Friday, June 26, 2015 and again on Saturday starting at 9:00 AM at Tapp Funeral Home, Henderson, KY.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Saturday, at the funeral home with Brother Bill Hite officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM in Grissom Cemetery, Edmonton, KY. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: St. Anthony's Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to Tapp Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home, online condolences may be made at www.tappfh.com
