Norma J. Davidson, 92, of Evansville, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Heritage Center. She was born June, 30, 1926 in Princeton, IN to the late Faye and Martha (Bammer) Ellington.
Norma graduated from the Deaconess School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. She was a charge nurse for many of those years. Norma was professional and dedicated to her patients care. Norma was married to George Davidson and together raised seven children.
Norma is survived by her children, Terry (Kevin) Guerrero, Janet Sue (Jerry) Rainey, Tom (Carole) Davidson, Richard (Tina) Davidson, Ellen (Steve) Wandtke; daughter in law, Kristy Davidson, sister, Martha Jane McCormick, 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, George Davidson; daughter, Linda Davidson; son, George (Rusty); sister, Naomi Newhouse.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Yvonne Roth officiating.
Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, Princeton, IN.
