Philip Nuffer Obituary
Evansville, Ind.
Philip Thomas Nuffer, 74, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016, at his home.
Philip was born in Oak Park, Ill., on February 13, 1942, to the late Orville Philip and Floye (Poague) Nuffer. Philip graduated from Evansville College where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He was self employed as a realtor and homebuilder. Philip enjoyed boating, horses and spending time with his family.
Philip is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cora (McDaniel) Nuffer, of Evansville; children, Philip Nuffer (wife, Kimberly), of Newburgh, Jason Nuffer (wife, Jessica), of Evansville, Audrey Johnson (husband, Stacy), of Zionsville, Ind., and Jonathan Nuffer (wife, Christy), of Evansville; sister, Diane Nuffer Ethridge, of Delaware, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E. Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN, 47711, with Pastor Dennis Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Forsythe Cemetery in Oakland City, Ind.
Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016, at Browning Funeral Home and again from 9 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Simpson United Methodist Church, 2201 W. Illinois St., Evansville, IN 47712.

Phil was always a kind, sincere guy liked by many in our Bosse High School class of 1960. I remember him in his MG convertible and the time he let me drive it around the block. I never met you, his family, but you all sound amazing. I'm sure Phil was very proud of all of you. Linda Hays Kinkel
