Bob was born October 1, 1929 in Jasper, Indiana, the son of the late Hilbert M. and Louise (Oskins) Kuper. He proudly served our country in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict earning designation as Jump Master after having completed 176 jumps. He was a member of the American Legion Kapperman Post 44 and VFW Post 1114. In February of 1951, Bob married his sweetheart, Shirley Matheis. He held club memberships with the Tri State Model "A" Car Club, Olde Thyme Auto Club and S.I.R. Club.
Bob was passionate about cars especially his 1930 Ford Model "A" Roadster. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his great-grandchildren and never failed to go to all of their sporting events. He was defiantly a family man and he never met a stranger. The family would like to thank the Dr. and Nurses who helped him in his final days.
