Viola Upton Obituary
Evansville, Ind.
Viola J. (Wilhelm) Upton, 87, passed away and went home to be with the Lord on September 7, 2016.
Viola was born October 2, 1929, in Haubstadt, to Charles and Essie Wilhelm.
Vi and husband, Ronald, Sr. (deceased) both worked for Mahon and Bonenberger Packing Company, in Evansville, and Uncle Charlie's in Princeton.
Vi had great passion for friends, family, and especially for her many grandchildren. She loved to grow her roses, make candy, and go camping with family when her health was good.
Surviving Viola are two sisters, Wanda Wallace, of Princeton, and Linda Lowe, of Mishawaka, Ind. Vi had two children, Ronald G. Upton, Jr. (deceased) and his surviving wife, Pam (Cannon) Upton, and a daughter, Brenda J. Roeder and her husband, Ronald, of Evansville, now both living in Fla.; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, Ind. (812) 424-9288. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to service time. Sympathy wishes may be expressed at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.

Pam, I am sorry to hear your mom passed away and to see your husband has passed as well. May God send you strength and place His hands on you as you grieve for your loved ones. We worked together at Therapy Associates in Evansville Indiana back in the 90;s so I dont know if you remember me or not. I myself am not sure if I have the right Pam Upton that was a good friend to me as a co-worker but I am willing to take the chance and post this to let you know that I think of you often and wonder how you are doing.
