Anita McAdow Obituary
She was born on May 23, 1953, to the late Robert and Evelyn Scott (Guilford) in Defiance, Ohio. Anita worked in factories most of her life and retired from Silgan in Napoleon, Ohio. She loved being outdoors and camping with her family. Those who knew her remember her as a woman dedicated to her family and she always looked forward to any occasion where the family could get together.
Anita leaves behind her sons, Joe (Laurie) Froelich and Lenny (Pam Miller) Froelich, daughters, Lori (John Blashfield) Lemmon and Kelli (Joe) Bok, partner, Daniel L. "Danny" Brown, brother, Paul Scott, grandchildren, Deven, Sophia, Zoee and Brittany Froelich, Dustin (Jessica) Hamilton, Tommy Sue and Tyler Bok, great grandchildren, Alexus, Zionah, Sloan, Dean, Adelyn and Lane, as well as several other extended family members. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary McAdow, son, Shon Froelich and siblings, Gill Scott, Marcie Lively and Larry Scott.
A celebration of life will be held at noon on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Family Christian Center, 1834 E. Second St., Defiance, OH 43512 with Pastor Tim Tracy officiating. Family will receive friends and family beginning at 11 a.m. on Monday at the church.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the church or to the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center in honor of Anita.
