Holly Schultz Obituary
She was born on September 11, 1962, to James and Mary Ellen (Krutsch) Hopper in Sarasota, Florida. On May 17, 1985, she married David Schultz who survives.
Holly was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She earned her bachelor's degree and worked as a traveling radiology tech in the surrounding area and she was also a tutor for Stryker Schools. Holly was a Detroit Tigers fan and she loved her pets. She enjoyed scrapbooking and doing puzzles. She treasured her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Holly loved going on family vacations and making memories. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and many good friends.
Holly is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Dave Schultz of Defiance, her sons, Nicholas (Allison Fillous) Schultz of Perrysburg and Dr. Austin Schultz of Defiance, her daughter, Brittany (David) Mick of Defiance, and grandsons, Dalton and Denton Mick of Defiance. She also leaves behind her sister, Leslie "Ellen" (James) Frey of Defiance and father-in-law, Howard Schultz of Defiance.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Hopper, her mother and step-father, Mary Ellen (Fran) Seibert and mother-in-law, Brenda Schultz.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023, from 2-8 p.m. at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2023, at St. Mary Catholic Church with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church.
Father Dave Cirata will officiate the Mass. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery.
