Mongillo, Catherine "Kay"
Catherine "Kay" Lutz Mongillo, 93, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Richard Lutz, Sr., passed away peacefully on December 20, 2015. She was born on March 5, 1922, to the late George and Eva Sevenoff.
Kay is survived by her children, Richard (Katherine) Lutz, Jr. and Lisa (Joseph Guilbeault) Lutz; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Rivera, Kelly Mai, Richard (Yara) Lutz, Rachel (Jeff) Bernard, Heather (Greg) Kozera and Cara Mrozek; her great-grandchildren, Hailey, Arianna, J.R., Manuel, Brenna Rose, Oliver and Owen; her sisters, Mary Howell and Elizabeth Barzda; and her sister-in-law, Kathleen Sevenoff. She was predeceased by her second husband, John Mongillo and her brother, Peter Sevenoff. Kay was very close to her family and very proud of her Macedonian heritage.
Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, online at donatenow.heart.org or by mail at American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
