I met Dan through Melissa at Northeastern 5 years ago and I am so lucky that I did. Anyone who met Dan knows what a truly special person he was. He was always so thoughtful of others and he will forever be remembered because of his incredible smile. Words cannot possibly express how sorry I am. Please know that my thoughs and prayers are with Dan and all those who loved him in this dificult time.

Words still cannot express the sorrow and shock I feel over losing Dan, who has been like a brother to me in the five years I knew him. I was blessed to know him that long, and will forever cherish all the memories he and I made. The wonderful, kind, funny person that he was will live on in my heart and mind. His personality and geniune care for his friends is a testament to his parents and the love and guidance they have always given him. I will always miss his smile and our camping trips. He was a bright light, one no one who knew him will ever let flicker out and be forgotten. I know he is smiling down on us, protecting us from hurt in his own way.I know he is up there with my mom and they will take good care of each other until we are all together again. I will always miss him, I will always love him and I will always be here for the Quirks in whatever they may need. I love you Dan, and you will be missed. Rest in peace.

To Michael & Cousin Patty, Uncle Frank, Aunt Kay, and all my family members, there are no words to express my profound sorrow at the loss of your son. Although I never met Daniel, it sounds like he was a wonderful son, friend and a special person. I know you will keep him in your hearts forever and allow memories of him when he was a child bring smiles to your faces. Love to your family and to everyone whose life he touched in a special way.

I only had the opportunity to meet Dan a few times at CCW events, but was blown away by the energy, passion, and knowledge that Dan brought to everything he did in the ring. He had a fantastic attitude to everything he did and will be missed.

Mike, Patty and Family,

Human words can not properly express the sadness we share with you at this time. Wishing there was something we could do or say to help, we recall the 23rd psalm, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me". You will walk through this, and it is but just a shadow, for we know our loved ones live on with the Lord. We will seem Dan again!

The Quirk Family,

I'm so truly sorry for the loss of your son Dan. Although we weren't close, I considered him a good friend. I knew him from SHS for our bands did a show or two together. I also went to UNH and ran into him from time to time. It was always good to see him. Such a funny and energetic guy. I was in touch with Dan the last few weeks before this tragedy, which I am most thankful for. My blessings and thoughts are for you and everyone saddened by the loss of Dan. God Bless

My husband, son and I are 3 of Dan's biggest fans. We got to know him very well over these past few years. The outpouring of emotions and well wishes I have seen is a testament to the kind of young man he was. I know you must be very proud of him. Dan was an amazing guy. We were honored and proud to call Dan our friend. He will live in our hearts forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I didn't know Dan the person, but I knew Dan as a wrestler. Something I will never forget about him is that no matter how many times that I saw him, he always had a smile on his face. I wish that I could have met the man behind the smile my life would have better because of it. My thoughts and prayers are with his family in this hard time.
