David Landeen Obituary

MERIDEN - David M. Landeen, 61, of Meriden, died peacefully at home surrounded by his love, Janet Petro and close family and friends on Friday, March 15, 2013.

He was born in Caribou, Maine and was the son of Floyd and Albertine (White) Landeen.

He will be missed by all who loved him, especially his cherished companion, Janet Petro; his loving children, Christine Landeen Cyr, of Bristol; son, Jeremy Landeen and wife, Elizabeth, of Plainville; his beloved grandchildren, Kimberly Cyr and Ashlynn Cyr; his devoted brother, Albert Landeen and wife, Bonnie Landeen; and Janet's Petro children, John Bergeron, Shawna Bergeron, and Christa Moore. David was talented roofer and restoration contractor and his masonry work can be admired throughout Connecticut. He loved adventure and had a passion for taking his motorcycle for long rides by the beach.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 23, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., a service will follow immediately after, at Plantsville Congregational Church, 109 Church St., Plantsville, CT. In lieu of flowers, condolences may be sent to c/o Landeen Transport, PO Box 6306 Wolcott, CT 06716.

I was so sad to hear about Dave's passing. My condolences to all the loved ones he left behind. I have so many memories of him, as do most of us who knew him.
