Drew McCafferty Obituary

Drew Anne McCafferty
Drew Anne McCafferty passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love, on May 4, 2025. Drew was born June 3, 1981, to Tom and Prudence (Bellanti) McCafferty.
She lived at home with Mom and Dad until 2007 after which she was blessed to find and moved into her own group home run by St. Vincent's Special Needs. Her home was a place of continued nurturing, love, friendship and care.
Drew was the light to let others shine as she taught those around her patience, compassion, and the importance of kindness. Through her gentle presence and radiant smile, Drew reminded us all that the most profound gifts cannot be measured by ability but by the heart. Drew was a true angel on Earth.
Drew is predeceased by her father, Tom McCafferty. She is survived by her mother Prudence McCafferty, her sister, Rosemary McCafferty and her husband Andrew Bentley and her nephews Nate, Everett, and Lucas and niece Seadon Bentley.
A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Notre Dame of Easton, 655 Morehouse Road, Easton, Connecticut. Drew will then be laid to rest at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Stamford.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sanctuary Fund of Notre Dame of Easton, CT (https://www.notredameofeaston.com)

I used to babysit for sweet Drew ... Every time I was with her I just loved her to pieces. She put a lot of joy into my heart as we had our own little conversations. She would smile and I knew she knew what I was talking about. A true angel of God. I remember teaching her a high five. We grew up in Easton with the McCafferty's, A very loving ,fun family ...a lot of great memories! I love you always Drew!
