John Migliore Obituary
John A. Migliore, age 92 of Trumbull, beloved husband of 64 years to the late Anna Howard Migliore died peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford on the anniversary of his marriage. John was born in Bridgeport and was the son of the late Antonio and Mary Migliore. John was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport.
He was a veteran of WW2 having served in the Navy. He was a retired Correctional Officer for the State of CT where he worked for over 24 years. John was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He was a caring and compassionate father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all whose lives he touched. John is survived by his four sons Jack Migliore and his wife Patricia of Westport, James Migliore and his wife Lynn of Trumbull, Jerry Migliore and his partner Margarite of Vermont, and Jeff Migliore of Stratford; Grandchildren John and his wife KimMarie, Amy, Brian, Amanda, Patrick, and Jeanna; great-grandchildren Michaela and Finnegan and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to go directly to St. Augustine's Cathedral on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Thomas Lynch followed by entombment with full military honors at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call on Sunday, July 29th from 1-4 p.m. at Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children in memory of John Migliore. I was saddened to read of John's passing. We had the opportunity to work together for many years at the Bridgeport CC. He always seemed to have a smile on his face and a spring to his step. I will remember him in my prayers and offer his family my condolences and sympathies.

Many memories of John and Ann from my days working at Plymouth supermarket. John always had a smile and a hearty laugh all the years I've known him. Together they raised a wonderful family. I will remember him at mass this weekend. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.
