Judithann Nickle Obituary
Judithann Marie Nickle, 82, of Derby, CT and wife of James Donald Nickle Sr., entered into eternal rest on January 8, 2026.
Judi was born January 22, 1943 in Derby, daughter of the late Michael and Harriet Pivola Sr. and sister of late Michael Pivola Jr. Judi leaves her surviving husband, James Sr., daughters Mary Lisa Poehailos (Peter) and Karen Burzin (Dr. Jeffrey) and son James D. Nickle Jr. (Jennifer) and many additional beloved family members.
Judi's giving and kind heart will be remembered and deeply missed. Friends may call on Thursday, January 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Jenkins-King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin Street, Ansonia, CT. The funeral procession will then leave for a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Parish (St. Mary's Church), 212 Elizabeth Street, Derby, CT at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery 308 River Road, Shelton, CT.
