DOS SANTOS Luisa Alves Dos Santos, age 65, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 12, 2007 at St. VincentSs Medical Center, Bridgeport with her loving family by her side. Born in Campos, Portugal on February 14, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Gracinda (Marques) Alves and was a Bridgeport resident for 21 years and a Shelton resident for 20 years. Mrs. Dos Santos was a retired seamstress for the Leather Sport Wear Co. of Bridgeport. Survivors include her beloved husband, Albino Dos Santos; her loving children, Jorge Santos and wife, Lauri, Rui Santos and wife, Maura and Mark Santos, all of Shelton; her cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kayla and Jenna Santos; two brothers, Antonio Alves and wife, Maria, of Brazil and Octavio Alves of Portugal; three sisters, Lucia Costa and husband, Mario, of Monroe, Maria Goncalves and husband, Albino, of Portugal and Carmen Marques and husband, Domingos, of Ludlow, Mass.; one sister-in-law, Isaura Duran of Shelton; nieces and nephews, Ana Cristina Tiago and husband, John, Alex Costa, Maria Malovich and husband, Vincent, Cristina Alves and Cristiana Alves. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 8 a.m. in Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport and at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 429 Huntington Road, Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment in St. Monica Mausoleum in Trumbull. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to Swim Across the Sound, 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606 in memory of Luisa.
