Like so many, Pam and I were so very sorry to hear about Marcel, our hearts were broken at the terrible news of his passing.
He and your family will always be in our prayers, the following is a true statement of who Marcel was;
There are loyal hearts, there spirits brave; There are souls that are pure and true; Then give to the world the best you have, And the best will come back to you.

Louise:

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. You may not remember me, but we lived on Lawrence St., not too far from you. I was a friend of your sister Perle. I remember your husband (your boyfriend at the time) as a friendly and happy individual. You are in my prayers.

Dear Louise and Michael,
It’s been many years since we’ve spoken—in fact, Michael, we’ve never even met—but I hold such fond memories of Marcel, and your family’s visits to us. My mother tells me that as a toddler, I had an enormous crush on Marcel—definitely a precursor to my boy-crazy adolescence. When I think of Marcel, I remember three things: the proud way he carried himself, his devotion to his family, and the fervor with which he lived his life. God bless you, as well as the whole Poulin family (ici et au Québec). I am deeply sorry for your loss.

To The Entire Poulin Family:

With my deepest sympathy, I extend to all of you, the loss of a truly nice gentleman. I was maid of honor and he was the best man in his brother Jean-Guy and Brigitte's wedding years ago, and I still remember having a big crush on him at 15 years of age. Louise, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You are all in my thoughts. God bless you all.

Dear Louise & Michael,
There is such sorrow in our hearts knowing that Marcel has left us. The pain of our grief, which is a reminder of all he means to us, is softened by the beautiful, usually funny, memories he left to comfort us.
God Bless and Comfort You.

To the Poulin Family,
For as long as I can remember, I've heard stories about "the good old days" from my father Gil and my uncle Georges. Marcel was always in these stories and although we were a generation apart, I felt I knew Marcel through my father and uncle. My deepest sympathies go out to the whole Poulin family.

Dear Poulin Family,
We are shocked & dismayed at this news that we just received. A VERY SAD & unhappy time for everyone.
Though small consolation at this very difficult time, Marcel was known as a "true blue" friend to everyone. The Oxford home that he built especially for us, will always be treasured because it was built by Marcel whom we loved. I am thankful for the comforting conversations that we have had together just recently. We sincerely loved Marcel & will always be grateful that we knew him.
The first time we met him was at a realtor's office in 1995.
I feel that this loss has scarred my heart forever. Our prayers are with this WONDERFUL family. I am absolutely beside myself with sadness.
