Mary Dapp Obituary

DAPP Mary Senese Dapp, age 89 of Bridgeport, a homemaker, died on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Maefair Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on June 13, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa Viola Senese. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, John C. Dapp Jr.; a daughter, Jacqueline Russo of Seymour; a son, John C. Dapp III and his wife, Claudia of Newtown; two granddaughters, Sarah and Rachel; three brothers, Alphonso Senese of Bridgeport, Harry Senese of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Robert Senese of North Carolina; a sister, Katherine Dellamarggio of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Fred and Oswald Senese and three sisters, Ann Guerrera, Edith Dellamarggio and Josephine Willard. The family would like to extend special thanks to all the departments, staff and caregivers at Maefair Health Care Center. Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 9 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 279 New Britain Rd. Suite 5, Kensington, CT 06037.
