Michael Breiner Obituary

BREINER Michael Breiner, age 86 of Bridgeport, passed away on October 31, 2009 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Mr. Breiner was born in Bridgeport, a son of the late Marcus and Rose Breiner, and was the proprietor of a local dry cleaning company for many years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific, and had attained the rank of Master Sergeant. Mr. Breiner was a lifetime member of Congregation Ahavath Achim. Mr. Breiner is survived by his beloved wife Rose; his loving children, Mark and Mona Breiner of Fairfield, Marsha and Andrew Liskov of Trumbull; his adoring grandchildren, Adam and Lori Breiner, Justin and Sarah Breiner, Donald and Deborah Liskov, Jeffrey and Tricia Liskov; great-grandchildrenl Sarah, Emma, Jonathan, Charlotte, Nolan and Joseph; a sister, Elsie Greenstein of Las Vegas, Nev.; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Breiner was predeceased by a sister, Harriet Eisgrau. Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 1, 2009 from The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home of Fairfield. Shiva will be observed at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Mark Breiner. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Ahavath Achim, 1571 Stratfield Road, Fairfield, CT 06825.
