Miguelina Diaz Hernandez, age 88, of Bridgeport passed away into the glorious presence of the Lord on May 11, 2015 in Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT; Miguelina was born in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the daughter of the late Francisco Diaz and the Late Belen Morales; She is the loving mother of one son Heriberto Hernandez and his wife Lori; her daughters Hilda Hernandez Agosto and her husband Tomas, Iris Hernandez, Mary Hernandez Polanco and her husband Ruben and Elizabeth Hernandez Laureano and her husband Frank; eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren and other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her; She was also predeceased by her children, the late Rafael O'Farrill, the late Carmen O'Farrill, the late Jose Hernandez and the late Iris Nereida Hernandez and one grandson the Late Jason J. Morales; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 7-9 PM. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2015 beginning at 8:30 A.M. At the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in ST. Augustine's Cathedral; Interment will follow in Mt.
