Patrick Michael McMahon
Patrick Michael McMahon, age 70, a lifelong Fairfield resident, entered into eternal rest at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Friday, October 15, 2021. He was born to the late John and Florence McMahon and had served in the United States Air Force. He was a retired respiratory therapist in Fairfield County and was an avid UConn Huskies fan. Patrick is survived by his loving companion, Bernice Felinski; his loyal dog, Dolly; as well as his lifelong friend, Sheila Rupprecht. He was a loving father to Kelly, Tracy, Chuck, Erin, and Kerry and loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed and loved by many. The family would like to thank the West Haven Veterans' Hospital as well as the Yale-New Haven Hospital Cardiothoracic Unit for all the care that they have provided. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. directly at St. Emery Church, 838 Kings Highway E., Fairfield. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his name to the West Haven Veterans Affairs Recreation Department by visiting www.connecticut.va.gov or the Connecticut Food Bank by visiting www.ctfoodbank.org.
