I consider myself blessed to have spent 4 years of my high school studies under the guidance of Peter Izzo. Next to my parents, grandparents and some close family members, nobody has influenced the values and character that has come to be who I am today more than Mr Izzo. He was an excellent teacher and mentor, by far the best in my lifeand not only within the subject of electronics, but in matters of life.
He had a tough love approach to teachingand a great sense of humor, despite the plenty of times he had to discipline us for the hard times we caused him :). I remember many conversations I had with him back in the 80’s, and have always thought of him fondly and with the upmost respect. They simply don’t make men like him anymore. I’m sad to read of his passing but happy that he had a full and happy life, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Mt Izzo will be missed and never forgotten.

Mr. Izzo made one of the biggest contributions to my career as he taught electronics theory that me excel through my Naval career and business ownership today. I refer to his teachings often, every moment in his class was great!

Our thoughts and prayers to Mr. Izzo's family. He was our Electronic Teacher at Platt RVTS in different years. He was a great teacher, patient, kind and caring for every student. He always taught with a kindness and was willing to think out of the box to help us learn better skills. He was a blessing to us all. So very sorry for your treasured loss.

Mr. Pete Izzo was my Electronics instructor and Department Head of Electronic Technology while I was a student at Platt Tech and for many years after that.
Mr. Izzo obviously had a great influence on me (and hundreds of other Platt Tech Alumni). He taught much, much more than just Electronics, he taught life, and what it meant to be a meaningful member of society.
I truly believe the world is a better place because of Mr. Pete Izzo, may he rest in peace.
