Peter Radzwillas Obituary

RADZWILLAS Peter A. Radzwillas, age 86, of Bridgeport, devoted husband of the late Anna Tuska Radzwillas, died on Monday, January 24, 2005. Born in Bridgeport, he was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport. Peter was a graduate of Bassick High School and the former proprietor of Acme Floor Covering which he had operated for more than 20 years. A former employee of Bullard Co., he retired from Avco-Lycoming and was a member of the Avco Retirees. Peter was a member of the Knights of Lithuania, the Lithuanian Young Men s Society as well as a 49 year member of the Lake Forest Association. Survivors are his devoted children, Peter C. Radzwillas and his wife, Virginia, of Monroe, Genevieve Testo and her husband, Albert, of Shelton, and Ruth Olah and her husband, Robert, of Bridgeport; four grandchildren, Peter Radzwillas, Joseph Testo, Robert Olah and Robin McLean; four great-grandchildren, Peter R. Radzwillas, Robert Olah II, Stephanie Olah and Brett McLean; a beloved brother, George Radzwillas and his wife, Aldonna, of Bridgeport; a sister, Anne Globis and her husband, Caz of California; several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Theresa s Church. Interment in St. Michael s Cemetery, Stratford. Calling hours are on Friday morning after 8:45 a.m. in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport (on the Trumbull Line).
