Roberta Kochi Obituary
Roberta M. Kochi, age 75, of Greenwich, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Born in New York City, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Kochi, she lived in New York City for many years prior to moving to Greenwich 20 years ago. A graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School, she received her Bachelor's degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. Roberta's career in banking spanned many years where she worked for Chemical Bank, the Bank of New York, Mellon Bank and retired as a Vice President for Putnam Bank in Greenwich. Roberta was an avid Bridge player and always looked forward to the New York Times crossword puzzle. Survivors include her beloved brother, G. Dennis Kochi and his wife Cathy of Fairfield and two cherished nieces and nephews whom she adored, Kristina Hopkins and her husband Andrew of Wilmington Delaware and David Kochi of Fairfield. A private graveside service will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. I didn't realize Roberta pasted away. Have know her for many years. I saw her a few years. Old at stop and shop in Glenville. She also gave me a great reference for my jobs. I worked for her when she had surgery on her leg or foot. I helped her for a couple of weeks in the winter back in the early 90s. She was so kind and sweet. Would send her Christmas cards over the years. So sad to hear she had passed away.

I´m deeply saddened by the news of Roberta passing . She was a wonderful person and brightened every day . I had pleasure of meeting Roberta many years back when she had her bout with cancer . I was your hairdresser. we had many laughs & joyous conversations together . She will be truly missed . I loved her very much. Your in my pray´s , Camille

Roberta was a colleague from the Bank of New York & BNY/Mellon and we remained in touch after we both left our positions. I would call Roberta around her Birthday and enjoyed some laughs regarding our prior days at the Bank. It was only weeks ago I saw her at Sam Bridge nursery doing something she enjoyed - buying flowers and plants.
My condolences to her family. May she Rest In Peace.
