Stergios Koutikas Obituary

Stergios William (Sted) Koutikas
Stergios William (Sted) Koutikas, age 25, of Monroe, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Born in Bridgeport on March 29, 1995 he was the son of Hlias (Leo) Koutikas of Milford and Melissa Roy of Monroe. Very proud to be named after both of his grandfathers, he spent many days working in both family businesses, Bill Jr. & Son Septic and The Greek Spot Café as well as the New Colony Diner II. A graduate of Masuk High School Class of 2013, Sted loved playing football and excelled at many sports. He will be best remembered as being a very respectful, kind, loving person who gave the best hugs. He made people laugh and always had a smile on his face. Stergios enjoyed skateboarding, playing his guitar, spending time with family and especially hanging with the boys. The memories they created will forever live in their hearts. To know him was to love him; he will be deeply missed by all. In addition to his loving parents Leo and his wife Stephanie Koutikas of Milford and Melissa Roy and her husband Matt Bittner of Monroe, survivors include his cherished brothers and sister, Leo, Joe and Kai Koutikas and Taylor Bittner; paternal grandmother, Maria Kastanaras Koutikas of Monroe, maternal grandparents, Bill Sr. and Ellen Roy of Newtown, paternal great-grandmother, Elefteria Kastanaras, aunts and uncle, Stamatia Koutikas, Alefteria Manchisi, Bill Roy Jr. and Vera Roy, cousins, Grace, Ava, Izzy, William and Domenic, as well as many great aunts, uncles and dear friends. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Stergios Koutikas. A walk-through visitation will take place on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
