Dear Molly, Matt and Megan,
I used to work with David and he always had a smile on his face whenever he talked about his family. Molly he said you were his rock. He used to talk about how he called his daughter Meggie and how proud he was of both of his children. He was a great man who will be missed by many. I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm thinking of all of you during this very difficult time.

Dear Megan, Molly, Matt and family, My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Although I didn't get to know Mr. Ressler as well as many did, I have some memories of him that will always be with me. As silly as it sounds, I will always remember that he loved the pretzel salad I used to make and would always ask for it. God wants us to cherish the happy memories we have of our loved ones. I pray He will give you peace.
With Love, Beth

Dear loved ones of David,

I cry with those of you I know (Michael, Kim, Maria, Sam and Mr. Ressler) and those of you I don't, because I know some of what you are enduring having been walking on this journey of grief myself for a month now after the loss of my brother. So I hope and pray that you too will be comforted by love in these immediate days and carried by Jesus in the days to come. I will be praying for you all in your journey through this most difficult time. Love, the Green family

How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? Rom 10:14

In the summer of 1976, Dave, a new Christian himself, preached the good news to me and led me to salvation in Jesus Christ. His Bible studies were a rare blend of humility, simplicity, and spiritual insight; spirit filled and ever mindful of the unconditional grace of God. I will always hold a debt of gratitude to Dave for his obedience to God's call and look forward to seeing him again, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed in righteousness and wearing a big, bright smile.

And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true." Rev 21:5

I am deeply saddened at the death of such a good friend. I miss him. I pray he is at peace. Dave has fought a decades long battle. When I think back on all that he achieved in his life in spite of the odds, I am impressed. Please continue to pray for Molly, Meg, and Matt in the days ahead.

I have many special memories of the friendship we shared many years ago including the transition that occurred in both of our lives at about the same time when coming to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I was there when Dave & Molly went ice-skating together early in their relationship. I was there when Dave opened the door for Molly's surprise baby shower at their house and she almost fell off the porch in surprise. Dave was a man of integrity, and he will be missed by a great number of us.

The gifts your husband gave to me I will cherish forever. They will last and benefit others long after even I am gone from this earth. I will forever honor him as does our God and brother, Jesus Christ.
