Richard Jackson Obituary

Richard Lee Jackson was born Jan. 21, 1942 to Kenneth and Pauline (Prescott) Jackson of Merna, Neb.

Richard passed away Jan. 29, 2021 at his home in Fleming, Colo. at the age of 79.

Richard liked ranch work and was an avid prairie dog hunter. One of his favorite hobbies was making parts for guns using his lathe.

Richard loved attending the school activities and sporting events of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Richard married Charlotte Kreiling in 1961. Four children were born to this union - Crystal (Jerry) Mayfield of Fullerton, Todd (Julie) of Oshkosh, Roger (Tracy) of Denver, Colo. and David (Jenny) of Scottsbluff. Charlotte passed away in 2002.

Richard married Bonnie Schoknecht and became step-father of Cole and Scarlet.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; wife Charlotte; and two sons Todd and David.

Left to cherish his memory are wife Bonnie; brothers George (Pat) Jackson, Kenny (Marilyn) Jackson: sisters Sandra (Alan) Satchell and Louise Jackson; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; cousins; and many friends.

Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life to be held later this year.
