James Harley Bastian
Born: March 26, 1949
Died: March 23, 2021
James Harley Bastian, age 71 of Hinckley IL, passed away at his home on Tuesday March 23, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 26, 1949 in DeKalb, IL, the son of R. Harley and Marjorie E. (Nehring) Bastian.
Mr. Bastian was a lifelong member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Hinckley, IL. Jim was employed for 36 years by Armor Dial in Montgomery, IL.
Mr. Bastian is survived by his mother, Marjorie Bastian of Hinckley, IL; his sister, Joanne Pearson of Hinckley, IL; his niece, Chris(Don) Fidler of Sycamore, IL; and his great-nieces, Megan and Morgan Fidler.
Jim is preceded in death by his father, R. Harley Bastian and his brother-in-law, Dave Pearson.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, March 29, 2021 in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hinckley, IL.
Memorials in loving memory of Jim may be directed to the DeKalb County Meals on Wheels program or to Unity Hospice in Rochelle IL.
