Dr. James 'Jim' Harder
Died: July 29, 2021
Dr. James "Jim" Harder passed away peacefully at his home in Jacksonville, FL on July 29th. Jim is a former resident of DeKalb and worked as VP of Business & Operations at NIU. He was also a lifetime member of the DeKalb Elks Club, and a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Jim and his wife, Jaci, retired to Florida in 2003 to be near his son, John (Sue), and his granddaughters, Elle (Nick) & Kaleigh. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Jaci, and was laid to rest with her at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I had the pleasure of working as a temp for Dr. Harder one week back in the late 80´s. He was such a nice man to work for. My deepest condolences to John and family.

Jim was such a wonderful man to work with in the sale of their home here on Greenwood Acres. He was fun to visit with and was easy to learn from. I have great memories of that time.
