Alice M. Henning

Alice M. Henning, nee Hattendorf, age 92, lifelong resident of Crete and Chicago Heights, passed away August 28, 2005. Beloved mother of Fred (Shirley) Meyer, Robert (Agnes) Meyer, and Jerry (Judy) Henning. Dear sister of Marie Neitzel, loving grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 15, and great great grandmother of 3. She was a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews and a fond cousin to many. Alice was preceded in death by her two loving husbands Fred E. Meyer (1934) and Ernest Henning (1996), a sister Hilda Seitz and a brother Vernon Hattendorf. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Crete and a Member of the ladies aid. Visitation at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 448 Cass St., Crete on Wednesday, August 31st from 2 pm to 9 pm. A viewing will be held Thursday, September 1, 2005 from 10 am until 11am with services beginning at 11 am at the church. Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Crete.
