Peter R. Carollo

Peter R Carollo, age 69, of Las Vegas departed this life, Tuesday, January 18th, 2022. His commitment and dedication to his family and friends was the utmost importance to him. Pete is survived by his loving family; sons Hunter Carollo and Collin Kaluzny (Alexis McCabe); grandson Lane Kaluzny all of Utah; mother Katherine Carollo of Illinois; brothers Robert (Lisa), David (Ronda), Randy (Ginger) and John (Lynn) Carollo; sisters Peggy Beke, Kathy (Kenny) Schwartz and Dawn (Bill) Morrison. Pete was preceded in death by his father Robert Carollo in 2005 and step mother Beverly in 2021.

Pete was born December 22nd, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois moving to Las Vegas in 1978. He went on to become a successful business owner of Carollo's Tropicana Motors and In 2009 Pete became the General Sales Manager at Land Rover of Las Vegas.

Pete was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, trap shooting and fishing, receiving many awards for shooting competitions. In 1993 he was voted man of the year by the Safari Club International Desert Chapter. He donated his lifelong collection of over 200 exotic and domestic animal mounts to the Natural History Museum of Las Vegas.

Pete was a kind and compassionate spirit, loved by all who knew him. His family and friends are celebrating his life at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 177 Luther Lane, Frankfort, on January 29th, at 11am.
