Cecil Myerson, 61, of Shiprock, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Farmington. He was born March 31, 1951, in Shiprock.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Myerson; his sons, Sammy Myerson, Curbe Myerson, Frederic Myerson, Avery Myerson, Orlando Myerson and Dominic Biggs; his daughters, Tammy Myerson-Begaye, Valentina Myerson and Meloney Myerson; his Father, Harvey Myerson; his brothers, Larry Joe and Terry Clah; his sisters, Nancy Brown and Evangelina Arthur and six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother; Susie Arthur; his sister, Angelina Arthur and a infant son.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, at Christ The King Catholic Church in Shiprock.
Interment will follow at Shiprock Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Curbe Myerson, Frederic Myerson, Avery Myerson, Orlando Myerson, Nick Begaye and Douglas Nez.
Honorary pallbearers are Sammy Myerson, Jerad Silversmith, Corey Washburn and Bryan Washburn.
Cecil is in the care of Desert View Funeral Home, North US Highway 491, Shiprock, 505-368-4607.
