Dr. Harrell was my pediatrician growing up in Elizabeth City. I have memories of him visiting me at home when I was sick. He always had his doctor bag by his side and I knew I would be better after his visit. Those days are gone but his kindness and gentle nature will never be forgotten. God bless and keep the family is my prayer. Katie Jones Reavis

May God bless Dr. Harrell and the Harrell family. He was truly a great man, doctor, humanitarian, craftsman, and story teller. It was my great pleasure and blessing to share many happy times in the Harrell home. He did so much for so many living a life of immeasurable contribution. A Giant has walked among us. Rest in Peace Dr. Harrell, and thank you for all that you did for our family and so many others.

Dr. Harrell was a credit to his profession. A distinguished Pediatrician and an outstanding humanitarian. Both personally and professionally he could relate to people from all walks of life. He was living proof how good a person could be. He insisted that all of us made sure that we provided a healthful and wholesome lifestyle for our children.
To his family: May the Lord bless you and keep you; make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; turn his face toward you and give you peace during this most difficult time.

Fletcher was much more than one of Marjorie's doctors for our children long before we moved to the city on Rochelle Drive to a great neiborhood. Mary and Fletcher, their children and dog, Buddy lived two doors away. We have been very fortunate and blessed to have known such wonderful people.I recall as if it were today the last time I saw Fletcher he was looking over cars on a dealer's lot and I went to him to chat. Fletcher, we love you. RIP

Fletcher was One-In-A-Million to our family for many years even long before we moved to the city. We were neighbors in a great neighborhood. Bill Hoggard lived across from us and Fletcher behind us and our five were very fortunate to have such friends and neighbors. We loved him. RIP dear friend.
