Irma Palacios Obituary
Irma passed away peacefully on June 18, 2016. She spent her last days surrounded by family and friends who loved her dearly. She was born on January 5, 1940 to Santiago (Sandy) and Rita Salazar. She is preceded in death by her husband, Danny Palacios (the love of her life), her daughter, Rosanna (Michael) Crasnick and her brother James Salazar. She is survived by her sister, Yolanda (Nick) Garcia, children; Jimmy (Patty), Gina, Tony and Danielle (Slaven) Erceg. Her grandchildren whom she adored; Ben Palacios, Zach and Adam Rodriguez, Arianna and Ian Erceg, Daniel and Sophia Crasnick. Her life was filled with numerous family members and friends whom she also considered family. A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 26th at McNerney's Mortuary, San Pedro from 5-7pm. A celebration of her life is planned on Monday, June 27, 2016, a rosary will be held at 9:30am, followed by a funeral mass starting at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in San Pedro. Dear Palacios family! My deepest sympathy on Irma's passing. Although my name will have no meaning to you, just want you to know that I remember Irma very well for the many years I worked at Glendale Federal Bank on 9th street. Her beautiful smile and kind demeanor will never be forgotten.

To the family,The world has lost a wonderful lady. Beautiful inside and out.
I knew her through her daughter that I worked with at the Kaiser Lakeside pharmacy. Anytime I would see her it was a warm and beautiful smile. I volunteer at the Providence hospital here in San Pedro and just gave her a hug and was so saddened to read she had passed away.
May God bless the family and give them strength at such a sad time.

Our hearts go out to the family of Irma. she is loved by so many people. as a relative it hurts a lot. As a former student at San Pedro High i knew her as Mrs. Palacios at the attendance office. I missed her there at school and as on a personal level we will miss our visits to her home. I can still hear her taking and laughing. Theirs so much more to say about this wonderful person. IRMA you will be missed so much. RIP !!!
