Marijan Knez Obituary

Marijan passed away February 26, 2010. Born in Crikvenica, Croatia on August 20, 1919. He came to America in 1952 where he worked as a fisherman. He also worked as a machinist for Starkist Cannery. Marijan was educated in Europe where he obtained his master's degree in engineering. A tool and dye maker along with hydraulics, Marijan owned his own manufacturing company as well. He was also a member of the Yugoslav American Club. He is survived by his wife, MariAnn, children, Michael, Michelle, Matthew and Mark (Kelly) Knez. Several granddaughters, a great-grandson, niece and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday, 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at:
