Bob was a wonderful guy. We knew each other for some 55 years. He was a colleague and a friend. I shall miss him very much.

A friend, a mentor, and, an example of courteous, professional decorum. As a neighbor, briefly, I saw a more jovial side. He was a pretty good bricklayer in building his house in PVE. He joked that an X-ray image of a front wall isolating an entry patio would show more than a few Coors cans. We all will miss him.

Bob was a great man and it was a privilege to have worked for him and know him as a friend. My condolences to Bob's family; I will miss him.
