Dad you said that you will live to 175 years of age, you also said that you had other plans...and would not attend your funeral. I love you more, and more each day. I am greatful that we got so close to one another. That we forgave each other, that was one wish Grandma Betty always asked of me while she was still alive...better late than never. I know your wishes will come true, you'll hold that great grandson in your tender arms, beaming with joy. I will do as you asked of me. Enjoy the care package John and I made for you. You are a proud, loving, caring, polite man. I adore you. Your mother gave me a very special gift when you were born. Thank you for wanting me to be happy, and in love. No man can measure up to you, ever! Your lullibies will remain in my heart forever, I am so happy we sang them together on Friday, you made me cry cuz it was so special! If it makes you happy, I'll settle for being your #2, always. You tought me how to wiggle my ears, how to read cards, how to swim, and one day I saved a life, because of you. You tought me how to ride a bicycle too. Your love for animals, and compassion are an integral part of me, as is your sense of humor. I am so greatful that my blood, is a real part of you. You are in my heart, my soul, my being. Thank you for being such a special, unforgetable father. You will always be close to me, communicating from the other side. One day I'll rush back into your arms, hug, and kiss you, then you will take me to our relatives I miss so very much, then we'll play with our loving animals, forgeting about the bad nightmare, the loss, the grief, the fear, and the regrets. There will be forgiveness, and a peace we've never known before. I'll miss our phone calls, who will be my spell check now?
