Armando Gonzalez Jr. died on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 in Porterville. He was 50.
Mr. Gonzalez was born June 2, 1958 in Porterville to Armando C. and the late Guadalupe Perez Gonzalez. He served in the National Guard and was a Yolo County resident for 30 years.
Survivors include Mr. Gonzalez's life partner of 14 years, Linda Herrera; daughters Leah Gonzalez, Christina Gonzalez, and Amanda Corona; son Raymond Ortiz; father Armando C. Gonzalez Sr.; sisters Mary Martinez, Nancy Vasquez, Rosemary Soto, Lupe C. Salazar, Lucy Duran, Esperanza Lopez, Amelia Hernandez, and Evangelina Hernandez; brothers Charles, Joseph and Tommy Gonzalez; and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Guadalupe, niece Michelle and nephew Franky.
Services: A memorial is scheduled for 1 p.m., Sunday, March 22 at the Masonic Temple, 228 Palm Ave., Woodland.
