Henry Saulpaugh Obituary

BLUFFTON, S.C.- Henry Saulpaugh, 95, of Bluffton, S.C., formally of Glasco, N.Y., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife Louise, of almost 70 years in 2018. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Daniel) McLaughlin of Bluffton, S.C., and a son. David (Marie) Saulpaugh of Fair Lawn, N.J. He leaves behind three grandchildren: Heather Terpening of Oxford, N.C., Michael (ToniAnn) Saulpaugh, and Stephen Saulpaugh of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. Henry worked at Hercules/ Dyna Nobel for 38 years. Henry served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II, where his ship, the USS Concord, fired the last shot of the war in the Pacific. He was a member of AmVets Post 70, Sun City Veterans Assoc., the VFW, and the American Legion. Henry was a kind and civic minded man who will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, S.C. There will be no calling hours. Burial will take place at Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, S.C., at the family's convenience. https://www.lastingmemories.com/henry-saulpaugh
