To all of Rita's family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I had the privilege of working w/ Rita at Rosendale Elementary School for many years. Often she was my "clipping service" as she often found newspaper articles about things important to me or the Honor Roll lists that included my children. She was always kind and thoughtful to everyone. I enjoyed our talks about Cape Cod and the many ups and downs of the district that she and I saw throughout our years. Her service to the children of our district was invaluable. She was a most wonderful and special person. God bless you all. Barry Greene

Dear Nora, Kelly, Jim and family,
My deepest condolences. Rita was a very special person. She was an invalueable asset to the Rondout Valley Elementary School libraries. Each month she would appear at my classroom door with all the books pertaining to the units I would be teaching that month and she was always sure to add the newest aquisitions as well. She loved sharing all the news of the family with me and I loved hearing it. The world is a better place for having Rita's spirit within it for these years. May she rest in peace. Julia Nucci Masseo
