Judith A. Wolf

1946 - 2022

Judith A. Wolf (Née: Califano), 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Born in Schenectady on May 6, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Rose (DeNora) Califano. She grew up in Schenectady. After graduating from the State University of New York at Albany, she started a long career helping students in and out of the classroom as an English teacher at Gowana Middle School in the Shenendehowa School District. She always looked for humor in the day to day. Judy enjoyed keeping up with her friends and family. After she retired from teaching, she enjoyed visiting and playing with her grandchildren and spending time with her friends and family. Survivors include her husband, Philip Wolf, loving children, Matthew Wolf and Lindsey (Wolf) Aston; cherished grandchildren, Arianna Wolf and Cora and Silas Aston; dear niece, Julie Batey; and several cousins and other relatives. She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Califano, and dear cousin, Patricia Thomas. A service and a memorial celebration of Judy's life will take place in the spring. Ashes will be interred at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 2501 Troy Schenectady Road, Niskayuna.
